Heed the Power is an unofficial fan site. There are no accounts and no ads, and nothing is sold. Here's what happens to information when you use it.
How we see what's working
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the site. Clarity records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and makes replays of visits, including the questions you send to Farbuck. Clarity uses cookies to tell visits apart.
We use this to find confusing parts of the site and decide what to build next. Microsoft also collects this data and may use it as described in its privacy statement, including for Microsoft Advertising. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement for what Microsoft does with it and how to opt out. Clarity respects your browser's Global Privacy Control setting, and blocking cookies for this site also stops it.
Questions you ask Farbuck
When you ask Farbuck a question, your question and the earlier messages in the chat are sent to Google's Gemini API to write the answer. Google handles them under the Gemini API terms. This site doesn't store your questions. The conversation is kept in your browser tab and cleared when you close it. Please don't put personal information in the chat.
To stop abuse, the site counts how many questions come from each IP address, for up to an hour.
Supporting the site
The "Support this site" links go to Ko-fi, which handles payments under its own privacy policy. This site never sees your payment details.
